Metallogeny of deep lineaments and new global tectonics

The metallogenic role of loci of prolonged endogenous activity has been studied by the author. Examination of multistage magmatic complexes and ore deposits leads to the conclusion that their sources originated at great depths and that they were formed during the periods from tens up to hundreds of millions of years. The opinion is expressed that the fixed space position of such knots of prolonged endogenous activity is in contradiction with the principal ideas of New Global Tectonics.
