| Abstract: | During the Sino-France war, the minister of tax bureau of Chinese Customs took an active part in the negotiation between China and Fanceand played different roles at different stages. He was strongly opposed by the Chinese people as he acted as an accessary to the invasion. Thereafter,on the benefit of China,he had the treaty signed, thus ended the war. |
