| Abstract: | After introducing the requirements for remote image database to Remote Image Imformation System(RIIS), the author firstly brings up the technique project to regard the Orade 8i as DBMS of the remote image database management, then furthur shows the importance of VIR in the RIIS, and lastly illastrates some concepts and work principles of VIR in detail. |
