Abstract: | The micritic pyrrhotites, which occur in the gold-quartz vein mineralization at Xincheng(Shandong Province)and Xiaoqinling (Shaanxi Province),were formed through the replacement of pyrites.Theyare characterized by the vermicular microscopic porous structure. And this kind of structure has not been reported in these areas before.Based on the studies of mineragraphy and mineralogy,we concluded that the micritic pyrrhotites in the lode-gold deposits are product of the solid-state isochemical decomposition of thepyrites, and that the microscopic porous structure has a lot to do with the contraction of volume and the escape of sulfur. |
