The pyrite-polymetallic deposits of the Rudnyy Altay, which occur in early geosynclinal sedimentary-volcanogenic sequences, are considered as polygenetic and polychronous. Their basic features and patterns of localization may be explained by the specific nature of the formation of the ore-surrounding volcanogenic associations and features of later redeposition of the ore material. —Authors.
