Certain features of dynamic characteristics of reflected waves in the Ust'-Balyk oil field

The amplitudinal anomaly over the central part of the oil deposit, as logged, cannot be harmonized with the theoretical calculations, and the true picture of absorbtion of seismic waves by the oil deposit is still the problem. However, statistical processing of amplitudinal ratios of the waves reflected from planes above and below the deposit show definite peaks over the deposit's periphery and probably represent the high reflection coefficient of the lower reference horizon. -- V .P.
