ROLE OF STUDIES OF STRUCTURES OF ORE DEPOSITS AND PHYSICOMECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ROCKS IN DETERMINING CONDITIONS OF LOCALIZATION OF ENDOGENIC ORES

Tectonic variables, chemical composition and physical properties of rocks such as porosity, plasticity, and elasticity, predetermine positions and shapes of endogenic ore bodies to a highly significant degree. A detailed analysis of these relationships, even in its present beginning stage, is often conducive not only to a better insight into origins of ores, but also to reducing prospecting risks in the field. --V.
