Problems of comparative planetology

Geology has been strongly implemented in the solution of problems of the theory of the earth and of other planets in the solar system, with the new technology evolving from outer space research. The progress of planetology itself and of planetary astronomy and planetophysics will be accelerated by the extension of geologic study to the generalized planetological level, and the more thorough utilization of geologic material by planetary astronomers. – IGR Staff.
