| Abstract: | The extinction of light caused by the presence of dust along the IC 1318 nebular complex has been investigated by comparing optical (H ) data of high photometric accuracy and radio data of the same angular resolution. The role of the detected dust condensations in the formation of stars has also been discussed. |
