| Abstract: | From the view of scientific history, authors introduce the concept of oil and gas basin and the development of basin theory, and as well the principal classifications of oil and gas basins, discuss the important significance of oil and gas basin classification on the estimation of oil and gas prospect of basin, in the end authors point out the developing direction of basin classification and the character of classification in the future. |
