| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the influence of diffraction phenomena on measuring the moments of stellar occultations by the moon from
television observations. It shows that making the necessary corrections can result in a significant improvement of the accuracy
of measuring occultation moments from photometric curves. For bright stars, the accuracy of television observations can be
as high as 3 ms. |
