摘    要:以东、西部地区典型地段的长城为研究对象,分别从其光谱、形态、位置及周边环境等特征分析比较了二者在高分辨率遥感影像上的影像差异,并探讨了造成这些差异的原因.

Abstract:The Great Wall is the symbol of China and is also one of the greatest structures in human history. The application of remote sensing technology to studying Great Wall is a new research field, which is obviously superior to traditional field investigation. The Great Wall is somewhat different in different areas in such aspects as building materials, spatial distribution and environment, and these differences are likely to be reflected in remote sensing images. In this paper, the Great Wall in Beijing and Yulin is comparatively studied by using high spatial resolution satellite images, and the causes for their differences are analyzed.
