| Affiliation: | Evan K. Nyer is a vice president of Geraghty &Miller Engineers Inc., Tampa, Florida. His book, Groundwater Treatment Technology, was published in 1985. He is actively involved in the design, construction, and operation of treatment systems for contaminated ground water and teaches a course on treatment technology for NWWA, U.S. EPA, several universities, and private companies.;Paul Bitter, P.E., is an environmental engineer for Geraghty &Miller Inc., involved with all facets of treatment of hazardous waste sites with an emphasis on bioremediation of ground water and sludges. He has mainly worked on projects that involve the bench and pilot testing of UV-oxidation, bioremediation, and steam-stripping systems for the treatment of organic constituents found in ground water. |
