| Abstract: | Based on the data from exploration and experiment in the Hechuan Hydro junction, Jialing River, the major geological problems concerning the dam site rock masses such as the gypsum veins, interlayer shear zones and interlayer fissure water are elucidated, with the engineering geological assessment on these geological defects made and the proposals on their treatment put forward. |
