Calculated solar X-radiation

Earlier calculations on the solar X-ray spectrum between 1 and 61 have now been extended by the addition of the intensities of about 90 spectral lines up to 220 from ions of the elements O, Ne, Mg, Si, S, Fe, and Ni for electron temperatures between 10⁵ and 1.5 × 10⁷K. The continuum emission has been calculated in the temperature range 10⁵–10⁸K for the wavelength region 40–220 .
