广东省耕地资源问题及其对策

通过大量的数字和事实，分析说明广东耕地资源存在的问题：耕地不断减少，人口迅速增加，人多地少的矛盾尖锐；耕地消耗过多，１９８０￣１９９５年平均每年减少２．８９×１０＾４ｈｍ＾２，耕地闲置浪费现象严重；耕地质量下降，水田有机质含量下降０．１６％，中低产耕地约占２／３；农田环境污染严重，受工业三废污染农田达１０．４７×１０＾４ｈｍ＾２；耕地后备资源紧缺。提出的主要对策是节流、保护、挖潜，强化耕地资源保护

PROBLEMS OF THE CULTIVATED LAND RESOURCES IN GUANGDONG PROVINCE

Guangdong Province has mere poofation but less culhvated land, with an aveop cultiVated land area of0.034 ha Per caPita. The ndn prob1ems of culhvated land resoarees are that: cultivaed land has beenCons~ excessi'ely, and a decrease of 28.9 thousand ha a year on average han l980 to l995 has beenobserved- The lOw and ndum vield culhvated land accounts for two thirds of the total cultivated land inCU~. The soil fertility has reduced and a decrm of 0.16% of the wic rnatter of rice soil fiDm1984 to 1992 was calculated. The area of the cultivaed land which is polluted by industrial waste water, gasand residue is loc.7 thousand ha. 0n the 0ther hand, there is stin some culhvated land left unused. To sobethe probems, som countermesures are Plit forward:1) to protect culhvated land, especially the 2 million haof essential cultivated land, through legislahve, drinistraive and economic ways; 2) t0 ase cultivated landeconomically and reasonably, improving low and medium yield cultivated land; 3) to spread improved cropvarieties and advanced techniope, ndsing the peduchve potehallty of culhvated land.
