Upper limit of the Gaseous CH4 abundance on Triton |

| Abstract: | A spectrum of Triton between 6000 and 9000 Å was recorded in June 1980 at the ESO 1.52-m telescope in La Silla. From these data, an upper limit of 3.5 m-am is derived for the CH4 gaseous abundance on Triton. |
