新中国成立以来，北京市多次发生水危机，且一次比一次严重这一状况严重制约了北京社会经济的发展，引起了党中央，国务院和北京市委，市政府的高度重视，并采取了有力措施缓解了水危机。随着１９９２年６月联合国环境与发展首脑会议的如开，要持续发展的思想已深入人心。

Viewpoints on the Ways towards Sustainable Development of Water Resources in Bejing

Since the founding of new China,there have occurred increasingly devastating water crises in Beijing.This situation has seriously hindered the economic and social development of Beijing and caused great concern from the central government of the state and the municipal government of Beijing,so that a series of measures have been taken to alleviate the problem.The Summit Meeting on Environment and Development held by the United Nations in June,1992 put forward the idea of sustainable development,and Chinese Government has made its commitment to the world.Based on this background,the paper analyses the status of the development and application of the water resources in Beijing and reviews its course,and points out the major problems on water resources nowadays in Beijing,and illustrates the ways towards sustainable development of water resources in Beijing.
