摘    要:1990-1993年对蓬莱西庄海岸附近海域进行了水文、水深、地质地貌和泥沙等13项测量和调查。整理分析实测资料并结合数值计算,首次分析研究了登州浅滩的作用并着论述了浅滩被破坏后袭击岸边的波浪增大,波能增中到5-7倍,沿岸输沙量增中到3-5倍。文中指出西庄海岸侵蚀加剧的主要原因是,登州浅滩被破坏后失去防浪消波作用而造成的。

Abstract:In recent years, serious coasta erosion occurred near Xizhuang, PenglaiCounty. In order to find the reason of the erosion and the means of protection, thefield measuremant of hydrography, warer depth, geology, geography and sedimenttrating ete. totaly 13 terms were conducted by the advanced instruments made ofhome and abroad during the years of 1990- 1993. Combined the measurement datawith the numerical calculation, this paper studied the function of Dengzhou Shoal as itwasn't damaged as follows f obstructing the direct attack of high waves (H> 1.5m) onthe coast of Xizhuang, reducing the coastal erosion by breaking waves, thus being anatural submerged barrier against waves and protecting the safety of people. Thispaper emphatically demonstrated the consequence resulted from the dredge fromDengzhou Shoal as follows: the waves entering nearshore increase, wave energyincreases by 5- 7 times, the net sediment trallsportation increases by 3- 5 times,because there were no sediment sources near the sea area ato replenish, thus the coastalerosion rate was enlarged from 3-9cm / a before the damage of the Shoal to 4-6m / aafter the damage. It appeared that the coastline drew back 14-20m at one time ofthe storm surge. This paper advances for the first time that the main reasons ofcoastal erosion in Xizhuang were the damage of Dengzhou Shoal, the increasing ofwave energy, which enlarged the coasta erosion sharply, so led to the disaster tohappen. At the same time, this paper has ascumulated data and experiences for thefuture researches in coastal erosion.
