Abstract: | After a lot of practices,it is concluded that during an engineering exploration in the talus slope zone, We should demonstrate the chanres of engineering geological environment caused by the engineering construction, assess its suitability and feasibility to the design and construction, and take correspondent engineering technical measures. This pa per presents three engineering cases, and from different aspects and engineering situations,questions worth of attention are put froward for geological engineers to do engineering explo ration, design and construction in the talus slope zone. In addition, principles are given as fol lows: 1. If the slope is unstable,it should be avoided as possiblewhen We select the engineering sites, in order to minimize the waste.2.If the slope is stable, We should demonstrate the effects and possible results of the naturalstable conditions of the slope caused by the engineerimg contruction.We should maintain the previous natral conditions as possib possible. If the natural condi tions have to be altered, some corespondent engineering technical measures should be taken to compensate. |
