Example Analysis of Station Waveform Data Packet of National Seismic Intensity Rapid Reporting and Early Warning Project

The National Seismic Intensity Rapid Reporting and Early Warning Project adopted a new definition of station data packet format, the original seismic waveform analysis and calculation software cannot directly process the data packet produced by the early warning project, in order to solve this problem, through a group of hexadecimal data in the form of charts, this paper analyzed the new changes and definitions of the data packet, the key byte contents of each part and their logical relations in the fixed header area, variable header area and data area. In particular, it points out that the decompression algorithm of the data section Steim2 is actually the process of effectively splitting the 32 bit data into the difference time series and restoring the data. Finally, using C language to give the actual operable scheme of parsing "wc" continuous waveform packet.
