The Geopolitical Environment As A Perceptual Environment1

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to summarize an approach utilized by the author in the presentation of an historical geography course. The course revolved around the establishment of an interacting philosophical and methodological base which reflected a scientific point of view of the field of study. Hopefully, the brief synopsis presented in this paper will be of help to those individuals interested in the teaching of historical geography.
