为对抗世界沙漠化培养人才的继续教育

沙漠化已是世界性的严重生态环境问题。沙漠化土地的整治是一门复杂的生态环境工程学科。中国沙漠化治理的成就和经验受到国际社会的重视, 中国科学院兰州沙漠研究所受国际组织委托为发展中国家举办了七期国际沙漠化治理讲习班, 取得了很好效果。当前发展中国家更需要对抗沙漠化的人才, 因此为对抗世界沙漠化培养人才的继续教育工程是当前一项迫切的任务, 期望得到国际社会的重视和支持。

Continuous Education to Technicians to Combat worldwide Desertification

Professional personnels are urgently needed in the developing countries in the world today. The training of technicians for combating worldwide desertification is an engineering of continuous education and supports are expected from international societies. For developing countries, it is hoped to investigate the availability of Chinese experiences to their situation, but for the developed countries and international organization, it is expected to study the possibility using Chinese experiencea to African Countries-International organizations have two strong interests in the field of desertification control-Firstly, it is hoped that China could continuously organize international fraining courses and foster professional personnels of desertification control for developing countries-Secondly, it expected that China could organize expert mission to work in developing countries facing the problem of desertification and train technicians for them. The guiding ideology foy organizing the training courses is to apply Chinese experiences to promote the progress against desertification in developing countries. Classroom lectures are combined with field observation for integrating theory with practice. Professors from university and institute were invited to give lectures and for practical instructions, experts and scientists working in research station of pilot experiment were invited to show concrete methods to foreign participants. As informed that the participants from Mali, Niger, Tanzania, Sudan and Pakistan etc introduced Chinese experiences and methods, Ther are preparing main plan of the rehabilitation of desertification-prone land and different case studies and pilotexperiments have been established.
