文化研究的本土意识论初探

本土意识论是中西文化碰撞的产物,它主张人们在进行文化交流时应立足于本民族的传统文化来审视外来文化,同时反观自身,以取长补短。本土意识论的产生具有深刻的历史渊源和现实背景,其强弱与国家的政治环境有着密切关系。它的出现也产生了一些迫切需要解决的问题:它可能沦为西方话语霸权的佐证,也可能使中国文化成为另一种霸权文化。

A Tentative Study of the Sense of Nativeness in Cultural Studies

As a product of Sino-Occidental cultural engagements,the theory of Sense of Nativeness suggests that people should base their reading of foreign cultures on their understanding of one's own national culture so that they can benefit from the cultural exchanges.The theory has deep-rooted historical origins and realistic backgrounds.Its strength is closely related to the political situation of the country,and its emergence also produces some problems: it may risk either supporting the Occidental discourse hegemony or making Chinese culture another kind of hegemonic culture.
