Abstract:In this part,a model for soil erosion process over forested and deforested steep hillslope has been established, making use of solution to overland flow. derived from the precedent part of the paper. The feasibility of the model has been verified by the plot experiment of rainfall simulation. This model differs from either the empirical model or the existing medels based on the sediment transport equation of fluvial dynamics. Plot experiment results of rainfall simulation indicate that effects of soil conservation over forested land is mainly resulted from vegetation or litter which can significantly reduce or eliminate the splash erosion and increase the erosion-resistance of the soil.
