Photoelectric photometry of JV |

| Abstract: | UBV photometry of JV near greatest western elongation shows this satellite to be about one magnitude fainter than previously believed. It is observed to be very red, having a B-V color index near +1.5 mag. Unlike the Galilean satellites, JV appears to bea low-albedo object. |
