| Abstract: | Hitherto, the Nigerian Geographical thought has been, in the main, partly expressed in innaugural lectures, Nigerian Geographical Association Presidential Addresses and topical discussions in journals. Hence, there is no cohesive articulation of its ideas, concepts, orientation and methodology in a single publication. This paper is a review of the development and philosophy of geography in Nigeria. It is presented in a concised form. |
