LibPQ的PostgreSQL空间几何对象的实现方法

摘    要:利用PostgreSQL数据库管理系统所提供的访问接口LibPQ,实现了一种访问及操作空间几何对象的方法。该方法通过在客户端继承空间几何对象,并在自定义空间几何对象基础模型之上扩展的自定义空间数据模型。同时,充分利用自定义的扩展空间数据模型实现空间操作,进行GIS软件平台的研发。

Abstract:It is an important task in GIS research to efficiently access and manipulate the spatial data stored in database management systems. The author introduces the spatial data storage methods in database management systems, then puts forward a method accessing and manipulating geometric objects with LibPQ, which is provided by PostgreSQL DBMS. This method allows users to expand user_defined geometric models with inheritance from system geometric model. Moreover, the method can make full use of an expanded user_defined geometric model to process spatial operators. As a kind of open source database management system, PostgreSQL DBMS can provide users with conveniently operated procedures at a price lower than the non-open source database management systems. Users can code inside the database management system to solve some problems which can not be dealt using the non-open source database management systems.
