| Abstract: | The importance of rare-earth metals in the advancement of scientific and technological progress, the geographical features
characteristic for the development of the rare-earth sector in the world and in Russia, and the raw-material base of its development
in Russia are considered. Emphasis is placed on the special significance of the Tomtorskii composite rare-metal/rare earth
deposit in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). |
