THE APPLICATION RESULTS AND PROSPECT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF GOLD EXPLORATION METHOD OF POLYFOAM BURIED IN SHALLOW BOREHOLE

This paper emphatically expounds the application of the method of polyfoam buried in shallow borehole to gold exploration. In view of ore prospecting mechanism and application results, this method has advantages over soil surveying method, which can eliminate the effect of grained gold, reduce the migration phenomenon of secondary halo and intensify anomalies in prospecting for concealed orebodies and blind orebodies, therefore, it is one of the effective methods of solving the problems on migration of secondary halo, thick overburden and difficulties in ore prospecting. This method is characterized by simple and rapid in operation, lower cost, short prospecting period, high efficiency and good results in ore prospecting, by which evident economic and prospecting results have been obtained. After further improvement and perfection, it has a broad prospect for development.
