Abstract: | The intensity distribution of solar radio bursts observed in the frequency band 0.245–17 GHz has heen derived statistically. The distribution law has been found to be quite different from that of a power law as reported by earlier workers. This distribution leads to the error function, when the total number of bursts in any intensity range is found out. The generalized distribution law can be approximated to the power law only in the frequency band 0.65–2.8 GHz. |
