Reconsider the Problem of Global Warming

The emerging phenomenon of record-breaking high temperature in recent years and other examples of the evidence of global warming were cited and expounded; important events that have affected global temperature change were pointed out; the change of surface temperature and the problem of global warming were discussed from the aspect of the greenhouse effect; the sea level change that has happened in the South Pacific ocean was used to prove the existence of global warming; the relationship between global warming and land use was demonstrated by heat island effect; and, six threats concerning global warming were discussed on the basis of real examples and historical data. Then, several problems worthy of careful considera tion were brought forward. Among them, the authors held that so far it is still difficult to believe that global warming is increasing; there is not sufficient data to support that global warming has been closely correlative to heat island affect; and the disaster theory to explain the climatic change still has many doubtful points.
