| Abstract: | In this paper, a comparison is made between the results given by numerical solution method and that by the geometric factor approximation. It is shown that the result is not satisfactory for the current electric logging using the geometric factor approximation to the logging response of the apparent resistivity. Thus the correct method established on the geometric factor approximation for the resistivity is inadvisable. |
