| Abstract: | Some features of the seismic disaster and the seismic fault of the M7.2 Hanshin-Await earthquake occurred in the South of Hyogo Prefecture, Japan on Jan. 17, 1995 have briefly been introduced, as well as other historical events and the volcanoes in Japan. Finally, the enlightenment in the investigation are discussed. |
