摘    要:本文以粤西水东湾表层沉积物样品的粒度分布为基本数据,使用对应分析方法并结合地形与波流特征,分析了海湾动力沉积环境。分析结果表明,海湾现代沉积环境可划分为4个动力沉积区。

Abstract:This paper analysed the dynamic depositional environments in Shui-dong Bay, western Guangdong, using correspondence analysis methods based on data of size distributions of the surface sediment samples. The results indicated that the modern depositional environments of the bay can be divided into four dynamic depositional areas. They are:(1)fine sediment area near the deep water where it is turbulent with low wave energy; ( 2 ) very fine sand depositional area in the shallow water near the shore where wave strongly deformed and disturbed the sea bed; (3) fine sand area in the ebb delta where ebb tide surface diffusion is the most important process;(4a) the remains of sediment depositional area where the jet current scoured the tidal inlet bed during ebb; (4b) mid-coarse sand depositional area surged by incident wave and tidal current at the edge of the ebb delta.
