Abstract: | In the Austrian Molasse Basin bacterial methane gas accumulations occur in Upper Oligocene to early Miocene deepwater clastic sediments. Gas is produced from the Upper Puchkirchen Formation (Aquitanian) in the Atzbach-Schwanenstadt gas field. |
