| Abstract: | The author describes the landform, hydrogeological and engineering geological conditions of the site where the multiple- use building of Wuhu Shipping Bureau lies and analyzes the reason why blind construction on foundation triggers or produces engineering geological hazard at the site and even endangers nearby residents. Countermeasures are put forward. It is proved that rational construction and treatment of depressions bring forth good economic returns. |
