摘    要:本文首先分析了北京地区2008年6月23日降雹天气过程背景,其次在具体分析天气雷达产品演变特征的基础上,通过重点分析偏振参数ZDR、ρHV、KDP的特征,总结出偏振雷达观测冰雹云的一些特征:雷达强度图中出现较强回波且高度较高,ZDR趋于零,ρHV、KDP比其周围数值忽然减小。此外,还分析了KDP、ρHV在辨别虚假回波和判断回波发展中的作用。上述研究对于提高双线偏振天气雷达在强对流灾害天气预报、防雹减灾以及航空安全等方面的应用具有一定参考意义。

Abstract:The paper first analyzed the background of the hailstorm in Beijing region on June 23 2008, Secondly, on the basis of a concrete analysis of the evolve characteristics of weather radar products, through selective analysis of the characteristics of polarization parameters( ZDR、ρHV、KDP), summed up some of the characteristics of polarization radar observations of hail clouds: Strong echo in the radar reflectivity map and higher altitude, ZDR tends to of zero, ρHV and KDP suddenly decreases than the surrounding values. In addition, the KDP and ρHV played role in distinguishing false echoes and judging echo development were analyzed. The above study has certain reference value to improve the application of the dual-polarization weather radar in strong convective severe weather forecasting, hail disaster mitigation and aviation security aspects.
