| Abstract: | In this paper,the commonly used limit equilibrium slice methods for slope analysis are first discussed.Then based on the arbitray sliding plane,the Swedish slice method is deduced in another way.Finally the applicable conditions and developing trend of the limit equilibrium method are discussed,which is of certain theoretical and practical significance. |
