| Abstract: | The neotectonic movements in Northeast China are very intense,but theresearch papers on horizontal crust movements are few. By remote sensing analysis and in combination with the data of geology and geomorphology,we discussed thecharacteristics and regularity of Cenozoic horizontal crust movements in Northeastchina.The Cenozoic horizontal crust movements are shown by offset river and mountainsystems,neotectonics and geological bodies and exhibit the characteristics ofextensiveness,coordination,polycycle,inheritance and continuity,The stress field of thearea changed many times during Cenozoic and controlled the active styles of main faults. |
