Abstract: | It is established that the factor of continental-oceanic polarization has a decisive influence on the inter-regional differentiation of imported goods retail prices and hence on the level of income of their end-consumers in a large inland country (exemplified by Russia). No such continental-oceanic gradients have been revealed as regards the retail prices for home-made mass production goods, and their territorial differences are due to the operation of other factors. |
