塔里木河下游绿色走廊的沙漠化及其防治

塔里木河是我国最长的内陆河流。它的下游始自尉力县卡拉, 终止于台特马湖南岸。整个下游段河长472公里。塔河下游流经地区, 东有库鲁克库姆流动沙漠, 沙丘主体高10-20米; 西有塔克拉玛干流动沙漠, 沙丘主体高30-80米以上。

Desertification and its Control along the Banks of the Lower Reaches of the Tarim River

The characteristic features of environment change over the past two thousand years and the trends of desertification at present along the banks of the lower reaches of the Tarim River have been investigated, The following suggestions were put forward; A) using the water resources rationally; B) developing new-sources of energy; C) establishing natural area of the Euphratic popula(Populus euphratica) forests along the river banks; and D) controlling the population within the river basin.
