| Abstract: | Research on the Earth system is a type of complex system project, which involves in multiple disciplines such as geology, geography, oceanography, agrology, atmosphere sciences, life sciences, chemistry, physics, information sciences, and sociology et. al.. The rapid development of network techniques provides opportunity for the research on the Earth system. The paper analyzes the connections between advanced technology of networks and researches on the Earth system sciences, and the far reaching influence of the networks to the latter. |
