| Abstract: | This paper outlned marine service and observations on board in eighth Chinese Antarctic Seientifie Expedition. The characteristies of main weather system which occured in the investigated region and affected on the route forecast were analysed by using of synoptic method. The experience of weather forecasting on board was summerized thro-ngh case studies. |
