Photographic photometry of compact galaxies near the north galactic pole |

| Abstract: | Photographic photometry in U, B, r, of 265 compact galaxies from a sample selected by RICHTER , RICHTER , and SCHNELLER (1972) is presented. The colours of most of them resemble the colour of E-galaxies. A few objects show a blue or ultraviolet excess if compared with E-galaxies. Some of these may be galaxies with an active nucleus (Seyfert or N-Type). |
