| Abstract: | Preparations for the 30th International Geological Congress,which is to be heldin 1996,are now in full swing.The geoscience community of the world has shown enthu-siastic response to the First Circular distributed by the Congress in April,1994.By theend of November 1994,a total of 3267 copies of preliminary questionnaire have been re-ceived,anticipating a participation of 4506 people (including the accompanying members)from abroad.Together with Chinese representatives,a total number of over 6000 is ex-pected.“How rejoicing with friends coming from all over the world”.Let us go all out fora successful meeting. |
