| 摘 要： | Bowheadwhale(Balaenamysticetus)isahighlyvaluedspecies,andofimportancetotheAlaskancoastEskimoswhoharvestitastheirtraditionalfoodresource.Itisknownastheicewhalebecauseitspendsmuchofitslifeintheice.ItwassurprisingtofindacaseofeyediseaseintheeyespecimensfromthebowheadwhalesharvestedinthecoldenvironmentatBarrow,Alaska,USA.Somebasicinformationispasentedbelow.Bowheadwhale96B14washarvestedbywhalingcaptainJacobAdamsonSeptember16,1996.ThisWhalewasafemalewithbodylengthof8.33m.Thecorneaofbotheyeswas…
