中西规划与建筑文化在广东五邑侨乡的交融

在介绍广东五邑侨乡自然和人文历史地理背景基础上，阐述以华侨为纽带引进近代西方城镇规划布局制度，营建具有岭南区域特色的骑楼、碉楼等所体现中西规划与建筑文化融合的历史过程、特质和风格，尤其是其中的文化创新，说明华侨文化是一种时代先进文化，应予继承、弘扬和发展，为今天现实服务。

ON THE BLENDING OF CHINESE AND WESTERN URBAN PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE CULTURE IN THE WUYI MOTHER-TOWNS OF OVERSEAS CHINESE IN GUANGDONG

The natural and human-historical geographical conditions in the Wuyi(the Five Cities, namely, Taishan, Kaiping, Enping, Xihui and Heshan) mother-towns of overseas Chinese in Guangdong were characterized by dense water network, frequent floods, bad local public security and many local people who went abroad to make a living. The paper expounds the modern city layout system combined with Chinese geomantic geography introduced by the overseas Chinese.New villages and towns were planned and constructed in the form of network and many kinds of Qilou (the buildings along the street, under which there is an open corridor for pedestrians) and Diaolou (barbican) with both western architectural features and traditional Lingnan architectural styles were built in the Wuyi mother-towns of overseas Chinese, which shows the blending of Chinese and foreign culture, especially the innovation of combining local culture with Western urban planning and architecture culture. It is indicated that the culture of overseas Chinese is an advanced one and should be carried forward to serve the construction of cultural province of Guangdong.
