Abstract: | Oil field is closely related to fault systems and diapirs in the Yinggehai basin. Diapirism not only provided a driving force for oil/gas migration, but also opened new faults to provide the oil/gas with migration pathways. Based on the analysis of the fault structures in the basin, the paper discusses tectonic stress fields in the basin and their driving function on fluid. Results show that the stress fields from diapirism determine the fluid migration tendency along the fault zone in the basin. |
