Abstract:
The pollution potential of Cystine industrial effluents on groundwater pollution is assessed. The results indicate that the
Cystine industrial effluent which is partially treated and stored in lagoons contains a high concentration of inorganic solids
and soluble organics. The percolation of these effluents caused groundwater pollution impairing the water quality.
